In a region where equitable healthcare is not easily and readily available, LIKITA – which means Doctor in the Hausa language (widely spoken in the Northern regions of a number of West African countries), uses technology to deliver world class telemedicine and virtual healthcare services in Ghana, with plans to expand to the African sub-region.
With a particular interest in Mental Health and Reproductive Health, our platforms allow patients to seek medical consultation via many channels such as voice (audio, video and text-to-speech), chats (SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Viber, telegram, etc), Apps or internet (web based). Where required, patients will have the option to also request for home or office visits, and a medical professional will visit the patient in a fully equipped ambulance to provide medical care in the near future.
